Error code 101 is an error that is related to your game's connection to our servers. Error code 101 occurs when your game cannot download the necessary information needed to play the game at that time. To clear error code 101, follow these steps.
iOS

Windows
- Check to ensure you are connected to the internet.
- Open the Microsoft Store app on your device.
- Check for updates. These can be found by clicking the [...] in the top right hand corner > Downloads and updates > Get updates > Update all.
- Check Xbox Live Status. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status. Ensure all services are ‘normal’.
- Open the Xbox App on your device. Ensure you are signed in.

Restart your device from the power menu.
- Relaunch game.
Android
- Check to ensure you are connected to the internet.
- Open the Google Play Store app on your device.
- Check if the app has any available updates.
- Open the Google Play Store app

- Tap Menu
"My apps & games".
- Apps with an update available are labeled "Update." You can also search for a specific app.
- Tap "Update"
- Open the Google Play Store app
If these actions do not clear the Error Code 101, continue to the following steps.
- Check Xbox Live Status. https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-live-status. You can visit this link from your mobile device, or from a computer. Ensure all services are ‘normal’.

- Hold down the power button (~30 seconds) until the device begins to restart
