Longer Loading Times
Players may experience longer than expected loading times when they first open Microsoft Ultimate Word Games after receiving this update. This is due to the game migrating your save data to the new system. For newer players that do not have many games played yet, this process should be quick and possibly unnoticeable. For players that have more puzzles and games completed, this process may take longer as there is more data to be transferred to the new Save process.

Following this update, please allow the game to fully load
- If it is taking a while and you close the app, the migration will pause and continue the transition the next time you open the app.

Blue Stars in World Maps
Following this update, some stars in your World Map may be blue instead of gold. Blue stars will count toward your total just like gold stars – no change, or loss of progress!
If you would like to replace any blue stars with gold, you can replay these puzzles within the updated game. Those earned during replay will be returned as gold stars on your map.
